Located in the heart of Hyde Park near the beautiful Shipe Park, Elisabet Ney Museum is a must see for any art or history enthusiasts.  Elisabet Ney’s studio became a gathering place for intellectuals to meet and discuss politics, art, and philosophy during the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.  After Elisabet Ney’s death in 1907 her friends decided to preserve her studio as a museum which now hosts a range of educational programs, exhibits, special events, workshops and lectures throughout the year.
